...was travelling in one of them RTVs the other day and a thought occurred:
RTV = Rural Transport Vehicle
Q: What's the 'transport' in there for?
Option A: ...As opposed to Rural DINING TABLE Vehicle or some such?
Option B: ...hey, everyone has a character-defining-nick-y-middle name, right?! (Ref: George 'Dubya' Bush, etc.)
Option C: ...it represents the *true* aspirations of the mini van on a death wish - transporting to never/netherland.
Option D: All of the above
Do vote.
Please add on options. Lets figure this one, people.

H. Sponsor's name (ala Virender 'Mayur' Sehwag. Delhi TRANSPORT Corporation)
I. Arbit addition by some Babu.Rural Vehicle didn't cut it with him. (incidentally, I thought it was Road Transport Vehicle)
J. A Marketing ploy to make people believe that they actually transport.
Okay, this is just off the top of me head. The kitty cat we both know (your friend, not mine :P) bragged that he'd have fifty options in 20 minutes. Incidentally, I have an intersting idea...will mail you regd that.

l) They wanted to say "Rural Public Transport Vehicle", but four words is too much, and hence found that the Public word was redundant...it's an ID thingy
m) Two words would be misleading...RV could also be Recreation Vehicle, which makes me :) Wish it were true!
