The Ultimate love poem
I read this poem, by Walter 'Savage' Landor, way back when I was in class 12. Many moons, miles, and a million shattered hearts later, I still sigh when I read it.
You smiled, you spoke, and I believed
By every word and smile deceived
Another man would hope no more
Nor hope I what I hoped before
But, let not this last wish be in vain
Deceive, Deceive me, once again
...Bluddy romanticist, bluddy!

You should clarify that the million shattered hearts were all other people's.
(Ok, Humour Alert: eet vaz only a joke. So pleez no teary reply along the lines of "you SO don't know me etc etc")
I'll go with Jai's comment, but without the humor. I really think you should clarify that the million hearts were for all other people :D
Jabberwock: NO PROBLEMO ...or 'teary' replies for this one.
Illusions: Well, shattered hearts -1 to a million - are usually for other people. wouldn't be narcissistic enough to believe that they would all be on my own, no?
Deddee: Coincidently, 'Jenny kissed me' was also introduced to me at the very same time as this one! about your ultimate poem - who wrote?
Wow... breathtaking indeed. I think I'm gonna sigh again and again whenever I read it.
Decieve me, Decieve me once again...
Stunning!
Deddee: No, I didn't know - you snob-be wannabe bird! :P
Conman: yeahhhh...I know the feeling... :)
